Bahra Cables Company of Saudi Arabia, a member of the CPC group, has received KEMA certification for its range of 0.16/1 kV power cables.
KEMA Quality BV of the Netherlands is an independent authority specialising in the testing and certification of power distribution and electrical equipment.
“This endorsement reveals that our manufacturing process is of a high quality. It is a rewarding experience to receive this quality confirmation from an independent accreditation body,” commented Bahra Cables CEO Talal Idriss.

Valid until July 2012, the certification approves the power cable (including aluminium conductors, XLPE insulation and PVC sheath), with extruded insulation, for rated voltages up to 1 kV.

Bahra Cables is well-positioned for a major spurt in business, considering the huge demand for cables in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC,” said CPC spokesperson Dr Faysal Alaquil.
