Omaxe has a track record in developing 'townships' in the Delhi region.
The Indian development giant Omaxe is set to create a "hi-tech township" in Bulandshahr, in the Greater Noida region near New Delhi.
Omaxe subsidiary Rivaj Infratech has signed an MoU with Bulandshahr Development Authority to develop the 3,600-acre site over a period of five to seven years.
“The township at Bulandshahr will be a good alternative to the crowded Delhi region and will create an attractive environment for high quality living, work and recreation,” commented Omaxe managing director Rohtas Goel.

“The township will be home to technology and knowledge-based industries which will be attracting private investment and create employment.”
According to Omaxe, the township “will provide residential options comprising of plotted and built-up developments with various options including affordable housing” and will include “commercial, industrial and recreational segments comprising of global business park, food logistics centre, knowledge based industry, hi-tech sports academy, healing centre, leisure and entertainment centres”.
This follows last month’s news that Omaxe will develop a similar hi-tech township in Allahabad, in India’s north east.
