Jotun to paint Alexandria streets

Jotun Paints has signed a contract with Alexandria Governmental Bureau and Arab Contractors Company to supply paint for a road painting project in Alexandria.

The deal, worth $180k, will see Jotun supply 40 tons of white and yellow road-marking paint. 35 tons have already been delivered, and the delivery and works are expected to be complete by the end of the year.

“This is also an excellent opportunity for us to showcase the excellent features of our road marking paint, which has been proven via comprehensive testing from internationally and regionally recognised independent testing laboratories,” said El Mohandes Jotun Paints Egypt general manager Per Harald Engesaeth.

The specialty paint product is an acrylic solvent based formula that is specially formulated to resist abrasion in areas with high traffic, and can also be applied with special glass beads to reflect light.
