Pearl Dubai has today announced the completion of 50% of the foundation works at its Dubai Pearl project.
The news follows the completion of the raft pouring in the South Tower, one of four buildings in the development.
Pearl Dubai expects the third tower raft to be completed by the end of October, the company's president and CEO Santhosh Joseph told Construction Week.

The South Tower has a foundation slab, which is 3.25m-thick and spreads across 3072m2. The second raft pouring on the project was completed in a record time of 30 hours.
“We are targeting five levels of elevation on the four towers by the end of this year,” Joseph added.
Completion will be in three phases commencing early 2012.
The four 73-storey towers will include commercial and residential space as well as hotels.
The podium area will include branded residences, open spaces, walkable areas, a theatre, as well as entertainment and retail outlets.
