Premco wins US$26.7m Riyadh concrete contract

Premco, a subsidiary of Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), has signed an agreement under which it will supply 62,000 m3 of precast concrete to the Princess Noura University in Riyadh.

The deal is valued at SAR100m (US$26.7 million) and will be implemented within 24 months.

"We are pleased to be among the qualified companies to carry out works in this pioneering and unique educational institution in the Kingdom, using the best construction materials in accordance to the latest scientific methods in this area," said CPC director of business development and administrative affairs Faysal Alaquil.

The precast concrete is required for the construction of the parapet and walkways, precast slabs, and the spine and stiffener diaphragms for an automated transport system being built for students within the Princess Noura University campus.
