Two Al Fara'a projects located in Jumeirah Village will be completed end 2010
Al Fara’a Properties has revealed that two of its projects could possibly be out to tender by the end of this year.
Speaking to Construction Week, Al Fara’a Properties director Natasha Gangaramani said: “Bellatora Residences, in Dubai Maritime City, and Image Residences, in Downtown Jebel Ali, are very close to tender and are in the last stages of design.”
She declined to reveal further information about the tenders by said that two of Al Fara’a Properties’ Jumeirah Village projects were set to be completed by the last quarter of 2010.
Mulberry Mansions, a town house project, and Manhattan Luxury Apartments are currently under construction and on track for completion.
“Construction on Mulberry Mansions began two months ago, while Manhattan has been under construction for the past eight months and has reached the first floor. This project has three basements, so it took a while to come above ground,” said Gangaramani.
“We will be delivering this in the last quarter of 2010 and Mulberry Mansions will be delivered around the same time.”
The company’s Burj Al Fara’a, a 40-storey commercial tower also located in Jumeirah Village, is currently at demobalisation stage and due to commence construction in the coming months.
Al Fara’a Properties was the first to deliver at Jumeirah Village with the completion of Le Grande Chateau in July.
Construction on the project began in January 2007 and consists of 170 apartments and a string of townhouses.
“Jumeirah Village has about 900 plots and, within those plots, we were the first to start construction and the first to deliver a project. This is a huge milestone for us,” explained Gangaramani.
“Whatever project we launch we are very quick to get to ground and to mobilise so we can commit to deliver on time.”
