The private agency aims to improve FM standards in Qatar
A top European agency for facilities management standards has established its first branch in the Middle East.
Agents4FM’s Qatari chapter was established last week by partners Stephen Lahiri and Jean-Paul de Vries.
“The Gulf region, and Qatar in particular, has developed enormously in a short period. Unfortunately, occupiers in Qatar suffer from an absence of credible, informed advice. Our agency approach will enable us to provide the very best in current international facilities practice, across the complete range of FM services, helping us solve organisational challenges from the strategic to the operational,” said Lahiri.

Agents4FM is the brainchild of Lionel Prodgers, former chairman of the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM), EuroFM and board director of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) and Dave Wilson, former president of IFMA UK.
“I think the time is ripe for a fresh approach to the way we deliver and arrange the management of facilities and business support services,” said Prodgers.
