The villas are designed in a traditional Omani architectural style
Zain Property Development has announced plans for an affordable housing district at Seeb in Muscat, Oman.
The US $44 million Dar Al Zain project will cover 62,000 m2 and will include 184 townhouses and villas.
“Dar Al Zain was designed and constructed around the requirements of the Omani community; more specifically, Omani middle income families looking for a safe, clean and comfortable community in which to live” said Zain Property Development managing director Mish’al Moosa.

The project will be developed in four phases, with the first expected to be completed by June 2010. The entire project is scheduled for completion by Q4 2012.
“Our goal is to make life easier for these families by providing them with affordable homes. Our properties reflect the character of the Omani community; our villas, for example, are built according to traditional Omani architectural style and yet also display the same quality of design and construction as more expensive, ‘luxury’ developers,” said Moosa.
Moosa also added that third party interior and exterior designers have been brought in on the project.
