Taj Halab will look over the historic city of Aleppo.
The British Mace Group has bagged the project management contract for the 186,000m² Taj Halab development, a mixed-use complex near Aleppo, Syria.
The contract was awarded by developer Bena Properties and Mace has announced that it will respond by staging a recruitment drive in the area.
“Mace is now fully established and registered in Syria with an expanding number of managers and support staff and is poised to respond to the growing needs of this market. We are now embarking on a recruitment drive to complement our expatriate staff in Syria,” said Mace-Syria GM Khalid Madbouli.

The development of the project will involve two new hotels, a mall, offices eateries and exhibition space, as well as the refurbishment of seven 1920s’ buildings and is set to be completed by 2013.
