Emaar claims Morocco project on schedule

Tinja is located near the Moroccan port city of Tangiers.

Emaar Morocco, the country-subsidiary of Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties, has completed foundation work and is progressing on super-structure at the Aldea project in the master-planned community of Tinja near Tangiers, Morocco.

The developer has also claimed that advanced infrastructure, roads, water lines and other amenities are now being laid out, ready to be handed over to investors next year.

“As the pioneering master-planned community in Tangier, Tinja is setting a new benchmark in lifestyle residential living. The strong response from customers to Aldea townhomes and villas is a testament to their trust in Emaar's capabilities,” said Emaar Morocco CEO Yves Delmar.

The company claimed that more than 600 workers are currently on-site working on construction and infrastructure, including the earthworks for a lake.

“We are committed to surpassing their expectations, which is reflected in the attention to details placed on the construction of homes and the infrastructure,” added Delmar.

Aldea consists of 184 townhomes and 110 villas and is part of the first phase of the 230 hectare Tinja master development.
