Aldar finishes Ferrari World structure

The theme park is expected to open in 2010

Abu Dhabi developer Aldar has announced it has finished work on the external structure of the Ferrari World theme park on Yas Island.

Over 4,500 workers labouring every day from an Aldar-Besix JV completed the superstructure in 14 months.

"We are delighted to have reached this landmark in the development of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Signature projects like this are another element of our commitment and contribution to Plan Abu Dhabi 2030, by delivering attractions that further enhance the Emirate's credentials as an exciting place to live and visit,” said Aldar chief commercial officer Mohammed Al Mubarak.

ROOF CLADDING
IT IS WORTH MENTIONING THAT THE 165000 SQM ROOF IS VERY LARGE EVEN LARGER THAN THE MANY LARGE MALLS AREA, BUT WHO SUPPLIED THE CLADDING AND STRUCTURE TO ATTACH IT, WHO IS THE SUB CONTRACTOR FOR THIS WORK?
