Alumco has bagged a substantial aluminium contract at Port Zayed.
Aluminium contractor Alumco Group has won the contract to provide aluminium facades for Meena Plaza at Port Zayed Abu Dhabi.
Developed by Tamouh, Meena Plaza is a high-end mixed-use project designed by KDI Architects and currently being constructed by the Malaysian Zelan Holding firm.

“This project also reflects the confidence of our partners in Abu Dhabi's future and in Alumco Group's capacity to deliver high quality aluminium facades in a record time."
According to the terms of the contract, Alumco will install 36,000m² of curtain walls and glazing, 25,000m² of unitised panels and 60,000m² of aluminium composite panels.
The contractor will also oversee the installation of a four-storey stainless steel spider observatory lift, to be covered by 6,000m² of vertical fins.
