Burj Dubai scoops Tower Project of the Year

Emaar’s Burj Dubai has won the Construction Week award for Tower Project of the Year.
This award was open to contractors, developers and architects of towers throughout the GCC. Judges were asked to look for design excellence and construction innovation in the erection of buildings higher than 20 storeys.
The Burj Dubai was unanimously selected by the judging panel for “its architectural appeal, sheer size, and iconic status”.
Shortlisted were the Atkins-designed Almas Tower, Tameer’s Princess Tower, and Trident International Holdings’ The Pentominium Tower.
