Developer Damac has announced it has completed the structure of its Tuscan Residences project at Jumeirah Village South.
This brings the total number of projects that Damac has completed structurally this year to six – and is the third of its projects to be completed at the expanding Nakheel master development on Emirates Road in Dubai.
“We knew that keeping our focus on those buildings already under construction would help us to deal with some of the tough challenges we have faced over the recent months and it has undoubtedly proved to be the case. In addition we felt that going ahead and meeting our construction plans will leave us in a stronger position when the market eventually recovers,” said Damac general manager Ziad El Chaar.

“We made our commitment very clear at the beginning of this year that we would be focusing on construction and delivery and by working closely with our contractors we have made great efforts to ensure that we have achieved this target.”
Tuscan Residences is a low rise complex comprising three separate buildings all finished in either Mediterranean or Arabic styling and is due for completion next summer. With the external structure now completed, the main contractor, Square General, are concentrating on the façade which will have decorative stone cladding, as well as working on the interior blockwork, plastering and tiling.
