RWI to gear up exports to Iran

Rubber World Industries (RWI) has announced plans to increasingly target the Iranian market for its products over the next few years.
Having exported around US $1.2 million (AED4.5 million) worth of rubber insulation products to Iran during 2009, the firm is aiming to capitalise on the growth of the Iranian infrastructure market, estimated by BMI to grow by 4.3% until 2013.
“Based on market projections and our observations of the developments happening in Iran, we are expecting this market to become an important regional business hub and a key market for our products,” said RWI chairman Abu Baker Shaikhani. “Our goal is to increase our client base in Iran, especially during this period of significant developments and infrastructural growth being seen in the country.”
RWI supplies its products to Iran via its local partners Mahan Sanat-e Royal and Ideal Kouhbor.
