The signing ceremony for the contract
Benyan Development Company has won a US $32.5 million contract to extend and refurbish the Mafraq Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The contract, awarded by The National Investor (TNI), will see Benyan refurbish an existing 121 rooms and construct an adjoining 129-room wing and chalet block. Larger swimming pools, a ball room, car parks and a conference centre are also scheduled to be added to the hotel.
“With our expertise, in depth knowledge, and understanding of the market, we are confident that we will deliver a state-of-the-art project based on high standards of excellence, while confirming our commitment to deliver the project on schedule,” said Benyan MD Mohamed Jahangir.

The project is due for completion in the fourth quarter of 2010.
