BASF's new facility includes a concrete admixture blending plant.
BASF has expanded its Qatar capacity with the opening of a new facility.
Working with Qatar’s Construction Materials Company, the company has developed the purpose built premises in the Salwa Industrial Area. The facility, which covers nearly 9500 m2, will be home to BASF Construction Chemicals’ Sales and Technical Services team.
“Our qualified technical services staff now operate from ample training and sample making rooms which together with a modern concrete testing facility offers our contractors, applicators and ready-mix customers unrivalled levels of specialized support," said Tony Moorat, regional manager Construction Systems, in a statement.
BASF has also opened its first concrete admixture blending plant in Qatar, with a capacity of more than 65,000 tonnes a year.
