The Dubai-based developer, Almasah International Real Estate, has appointed two contractors to complete works on three of its projects.
Al Shafaar civil engineering has bagged the main contract for the $13,6m Judi Palace project and $49.3m Jouri 5, both located in Jumeirah Village.
Meanwhile, Al Reem Dubai Contracting has been appointed to begin main construction work on Chess Tower, a $21.5m project in Dubai Sport City.
“Our main objective is to deliver on what we have promised to our investors,” he says. “We are very proud to announce these appointments as it once again highlights out commitment to our projects,” said Almasah chairman Dr. Abou Taleb Talebi.

Mobilisation works on Judi Palace started on November 1 and will be delivered in 17 months. The development will have a built up area of 18,675m² comprising 145 units over four floors and two buildings. Work on Jouri 5 began on December 15 and it will take 20 months to deliver the 72,000m², 16-storey development.
Al Reem Dubai Contracting began works on Chess Tower on November 5and the 27,500m² project will be delivered in 19 months.
Almasah currently has 19 projects under construction, with a total value in excess of one billion dollars.
