Damac invites bids for Jeddah tower

Dubai-based developer Damac Properties has invited contractors to bid for the contract to build its 178-metre-tall Al-Jawhara Tower in Jeddah, according to MEED.

Bids are to be submitted for the 49-floor residential tower by January 31.

Al-Jawhara Tower will feature ground floor retail space and a restaurant, a basement parking floor, three podium floors for parking, and a health club floor consisting of a gymnasium, swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms.

The 42 residential floors will consist of 294 apartments made up of one, two and three-bedroom units.
