Jeddah will soon have a new high rise dominating its skyline.
Jeddah’s King’s Road Tower is now in the final phase of construction, Saudi-based real estate company Saqeifat Al Safa has announced.
The superstructure has a built up area of 10,000m² and will stand 140 metres and 37 storeys high once complete, making it Jeddah’s tallest tower.
“The tower is expected to become the preferred business and leisure address for the city,” said Sageifat Al Safa president Mowafaq Al Hashimi.
“It is easily distinguishable not just because of its height, but also because of its architectural features, including The Pearl,” said Al Hashimi.
Construction is being carried out by Faden Contracting Company, while Abdullah Dughaither Architects and Consultants designed the building in collaboration with Kling Consult.
The tower will feature 27 floors of office space, as well as restaurants, shops and health club facilities once complete.
The building’s two parking areas will accommodate up to 1000 cars.
