Abu Dhabi TDIC prepares to float two more tenders

The Deyar Al Mafraq job covers 545 apartments across eight buildings.

Abu Dhabi-based Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) has issued pre-qualification invitations for two contracts in Abu Dhabi.

The larger of the two jobs covers the main contract works for Deyar Al Mafraq, which will include 545 apartments across eight buildings.

Bidders must have posted revenue of at least AED 1 billion in each of the last three years and have ‘successfully’ completed five projects worth AED 300 million in the last three years.

Interested parties must register their interest and obtain a pre-qualification questionnaire from TDIC by Jan 31.

The second job covers the main contract works for hospitality and leisure buildings on Sir Bani Yas Island. The project will require civil, structural, MEP, landscaping, fitout and external works on five separate facilities, between 1000 and 4000 m² in size.

Bidders must have posted revenue of at least AED 500 million in each of the last three years and have ‘successfully’ completed five projects worth AED 250 million in the last three years.

Interested parties must register their interest by Jan 26 and collect the pre-qualification questionnaire from TDIC by Feb 2.

Our company is Arab gulfpearl trading estb representing TESAR transformers from ITALY. TESAR is an approved manufacturer on the vendor list of ADWEA and DEWA and offer transformer dry type for indoor applications ranging from 100kva to 20MVA upto 36kv voltage level. We have supplied to various projects within Sadiyat island, Reem island,Yas islands and in Abu Dhabi city for the past 20 years. We are keen to participate in the above project and all your forthcoming tenders. We have supplied transformers to various TDIC projects. Hence please advise whether we have to be prequalified for each project since each project has different consultants and project managers. Please clarify. Further kindly advise the details of the consultants for the above tenders to enable us to furnish our prequalification documents to these consultant before the tender is released for construction. We would also like to make a request if the vendor list of ADWEA could be followed for all HV equipments in all your tenders instead of the consultants vendor list.
