The Ashrae (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) HQ building in Atlanta, Georgia has been awarded LEED Platinum, the highest environmental certification available. What made this remarkable is that it was achieved by retrofitting an existing building. This one was built way back in 1965.
