Nakheel receives final tower in Marina Residence

Shimizu Corporation handed over the sixth and final tower in Marina Residence.

Nakheel has received the sixth and final tower at Marina Residences on Palm Jumeirah from Japanese contractor Shimizu Corporation.

The handover of homes to owners began late last year, with almost 100 families already taking occupancy.

"We have been working closely with world leading contractors Shimizu Corporation during the past few years to deliver this exceptional development on Palm Jumeirah,” said Marwan Al Qamzi, group managing director, Nakheel Development Projects.

“Palm Jumeirah remains one of the most sought after locations in Dubai and residents at Marina Residences are set to enjoy the best of what Palm Jumeirah has to offer with gorgeous homes, stunning views, and world-class hotels and entertainment on their doorstep.”

The waterfront development features six residential towers containing a mix of apartments and penthouses. The most expensive penthouses cover four floors and contain 14,000 sq square feet of living space.

James, We are in the same boat as you. Nakhel is now a pathetic organization to deal with. Besides owning 2 studios in Discovery Gardens, I live in The Gardens and having to deal with Nakheel / NAM is a nightmare. Am glad that I did not buy any more in their developments. They need to take a lesson from Emaar. I also have a property in Greens and believe me, it is a pleasure.

never mind the building...
...where's my pool? The only water in the pools at Discovery Gardens came down in the last shower, like us poor [people] who bought the places.
