Royal Philips Electronics has announced the opening of a new head office in Riyadh that will serve as the centre of the company’s operations for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), where it recorded a 50% sales growth in 2009.
The company has been present in KSA for more than 50 years, and has also established representative offices in Jeddah and Dammam.
The inauguration of the new head office was held under the patronage of HE Abdulrahman Bin Ali Al-Jeraisy, chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, and attended on his behalf by deputy chairman Abdul Aziz Al-Ajlan, in the presence of the Philips Middle East area management team.
“Our expansion and continued growth in KSA is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the region, and is part of a strategic vision that has long recognised the Middle East as an important part of the global economy.

“We are proud of the contribution we have made in KSA, and we look forward to further assisting our customers in the region with their growing needs,” commented Louis Hakim, VP of Royal Philips Electronics and CEO of Philips Middle East.
