Emerald Palace Group has promised to hand over all units in its Kempinski Hotel Residences Palm Jumeirah project by April 2010.

This, it claims, will make it the first foreign developer to complete a project on Palm Jumeirah.

So far, 100 out of 244 units have been handed over to owners.

"We have forged ahead towards completion of our project, with an unwavering focus on quality,” said James Wilson, managing director of Emerald Palace Group.

“The results are clear to see and the customers who have received their hotel residences so far have been absolutely delighted.

"Through the life of the project, we have had zero defaults, a reflection of our customers' confidence in the project, in Palm Jumeirah and in the long term potential of Dubai. As we hand over the residences, we are seeing that confidence being realised.

Not surprisingly, Nakheel was delighted with the news.

Marwan Al Qamzi, group managing director, said: “We are delighted to see the progress made by Emerald Palace Group, as the first foreign-owned developer to start delivering residences on Palm Jumeirah.

"The company was one of the first to recognise and appreciate the vision for Palm Jumeirah."
