Drake & Scull International, the MEP giant, has appointed a new board member with immediate effect.
Khalaf Sultan Bin Rahsed al Dhaeri has joined the Dubai-based firm, according to a statement to the Dubai Financial Market.
The company provides engineering and construction procurement services to a range of different projects, and is one of the oldest companies in the region, having formed in 1966. It was incorporated two years ago and has been listed on the Dubai index since March last year.
On Thursday last week its stock fell almost 1% to close at AED0.82, a drop from AED0.9 a month ago.

Last month the company won its first two contracts for its recently-acquired Qatar branch worth AED140 million, a country that has seen a significant upturn in its infrastructure projects. The two deals will be for a mixed use project in the Al Sadd district.
