Will it be biggest facility ever designed for such a energy load based on solar power!
Qatar’s world cup officials are confident that air-conditioned stadium will keep ambient temperatures on the pitch at 27 degrees. Solar power air-conditioning will be used at stadiums, fan zones and training camps – and officials are confident they are able to meet targets.
A scaled down prototype will be built around a five-aside pitch in Doha, and will be unveiled in September before an official delegation of FIFA members visits the State to inspect plans.
