Al Tamimi Company will today host a briefing on the implementation of the new Jointly Owned Property Law regulations in Dubai.
The law firm will provide an overview of the law and its guidelines and outline the enforcement and disclosure regimes.
"The introduction of these regulations is a positive and timely step towards encouraging real estate investment in Dubai, whilst providing an effective compliance and enforcement framework in a consistent and transparent manner, will ensure that all participants are aware of their rights and obligations," said Al Tamimi head of property Lisa Dale.
The new regulations seek to balance the rights of owners and co-owners' associations in relation to the management and operation of communities and individual multi-owned buildings in Dubai.
The briefing will be held at Emirates Towers today.
