Emcor Facilities Services (EFS) has won a US $16.88 million (AED62 million) contract to offer maintenance for 650 mosques in Al Ain.
Musanada, the Abu Dhabi General Services company awarded the contract, which will last three years and will cover the servicing of the mosques’ MEP equipment and managing and repairing ancillary work associated with building fabric.
“Our solid international knowledge, local experience, highly skilled teams and workforce are what gave EFS the functionality and mobility to begin work in just a few weeks. We are honoured to have been awarded this project and look forward to working with Musanada,” said Emcor’s UAE managing director Richard Burl.

Today, 100 tradesmen will start work on the project.
At present, EFS delivers services to 600 projects across the region valued at $272.28 million through its regional offices.
Such projects include King Abdullah University for Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia; Jumeirah Lake Towers Community in Dubai and the Bahrain Financial Harbour.
