International Gulf Trading Company (IGTC) Chubb Fire Qatar, a leader in fire-safety equipment, supplies and security solutions, has been awarded a contract for the inspection, installation, and repair of fire-safety systems in 53 schools and 26 kindergartens throughout Qatar to ensure that all the locations meet stringent international standards.
Over 6 000 fire extinguishers will be replaced, serviced, or repaired, making this one of the largest projects to date in IGTC Chubb Fire Qatar’ 28 years of operation in the country.
“Being awarded this extensive project by the Supreme Education Council is a vote of confidence in our ability to distribute the very best safety systems,” said IGTC Chubb Fire Qatar GM Rami Batrawi.
“Executing individual site surveys is the first step in bringing all fire-safety systems up to code, after which IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar will submit a detailed report of needed repairs and installations to the Minster of Education.
"After the initial documentation is submitted, the company will then begin to replace fire detection systems, pumps and extinguishers,” explained Batrawi.
