Dubai-based Kanoo Equipment Rental (Kanrent) is to supply material handling equipment for CEVA Logistics’ new facility in Jebel Ali Free zone.

CEVA Logistics, one of the world's leading supply chain management companies headquartered in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands has approached Kanrent to supply logistic equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks and stackers for its newest and largest facility in Jebel Ali Free zone.

The contract was signed at a ceremony by John Gould, Managing Director of CEVA Logistics Middle East and Bob Curtis, Kanoo Group CEO UAE-Oman on 4 October at the offices of CEVA Logistics Middle East.

The two companies stated this was the first step in a long-term partnership to support CEVA Logistics expansion plans and both have committed to the successful implementation of a MoU for the benefit of the customers in the region.

“We are immensely proud to explore growth opportunities with a strong partner like CEVA Logistics which possesses strengths that are well-aligned with Kanrent. CEVA Logistics is recognised as an innovator that demonstrates excellence in logistics and supply chain management,” said Curtis.
