Position Description
Candidate will act as a strategic consultative partner and advisor to the E&P Continuing Excellence Safety Team and Management.
The position will report directly to the Team Leader of Safety operating under the Director of E&P Continuing Excellence (who reports directly to the Exploration & Producing (E&P) Sr Vice President). The candidate will be a key member of the Safety Team and responsible for developing and managing HSE objectives, strategies, initiatives, processes, standards, key performance indicators and activities to achieve the E&P Business Line vision.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Risk Management, EHS or related field. Master's degree or MBA is an advantage but not a pre-requisite. Preferred experience to include; 9-15 years of progressive EHS experience encompassing both industrial and consulting experience.
Oil/Gas Exploration and Producing experience. Implementation of safety management systems, including OHSAS 18001. Experience in working with development, deployment and management of safety audit systems. Implementation of behavior-based safety initiatives experience. HSE Certifications. Certified in TapRooT® Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis System.
