As the Senior Project Manager you willprovide, with full responsibility and accountability, a professional service to ASTAD covering Business Development Management and engineering activities (all disciplines) on all Company projects, or designated portions of a project.

Plans and directs management and engineering assignments on the project. Has a technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.

Fully responsible to provide management, leadership and control of a team of Project Managers to achieve planning and coordination work on extremely large complex projects, projects on which there are unique problems in schedule, finance construction or design, or on multiple small or medium size projects.

Who we're looking for

Education:
• B.Sc. in Civil / Architecture.
• Project Management Professional or equivalent degree from a recognized institute.
• Preferably M.Sc.in Civil / Structures / Construction Management / Architecture.
• Professional membership of a recognized international institute / association / organization related to engineering as well as project management is desirable.
• A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience out of which 10+ years in managing projects, people, technical and financial experience managing multiple major projects.
• Experience in MENA is preferred.
Skills

Possesses excellent leadership skills and ability to technically and administratively lead, supervise and motivate a team of Project Managers. Have excellent planning, decision making, problem solving and organizational skills.

Excellent technical knowledge within authority area Disciplines is mandatory and in addition, shall also have good working knowledge of other disciplines in Division.

Must have thorough knowledge of industry / international standards, and ability to interpret for specific application within sphere of relevant disciplines.

Communication & negotiating skills as well as an ability to work in a multicultural team environment must be well developed and proven.
