As the Lead Electrical LV/HV Engineer you will provide with full responsibility and accountability, a technical service to ASTAD, in all areas of building services works, during definition and execution stages, ensuring that designs are in compliance with the latest Codes, Standards, National and company requirements and procedures.

Motivate subordinates in consistently producing high quality work that is world class, fit for purpose, and meets the end user minimum requirements.

Responsible and accountable for the application of Qatar Foundation / QMA and Corporate design philosophies and standards in order to promote and maintain the highest technical quality of fit-for-purpose, safe environmentally sound engineering designs.

Who we're looking for

Education:
B. Sc. In Electrical / Telecommunication / IT / Computer Sciences Engineering.
Professional membership of a recognized international institute / association / organization is desirable.
Chartered engineering status is preferred.

Skills:
Possesses excellent leadership skills and ability to technically and administratively lead, supervise and motivate a multidisciplinary team of senior discipline engineers and senior designers, have excellent planning, decision making, problem solving and organizational skills.

Excellent technical knowledge within authority area Disciplines is mandatory and in addition, shall also have good working knowledge of other disciplines in the Company. Must have thorough knowledge of industry / international standards with the ability to interpret for specific application within the sphere of relevant discipline.

Communication and negotiating skills as well as an ability to work in a team environment must be well developed and proven. Must have the confidence and aptitude to discuss technical issues with the world's leading consultants.

Experience:
18 years post graduate experience in the design, construction and commissioning of facilities related to Public/ Private Buildings/ Infrastructure including a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role, leading a multi-discipline design team.
