My client, an International Engineering and Development Consultancy, is implementing a multi-billion dollar Industrial Park within the emirate and requires a Programme Director, responsible for the overall delivery of Services to the client under the commission. This is the most senior position in the project team, being client facing and carrying responsibility for coordination of the other stakeholders (client, business units and asset owners, government authorities, etc.). This is a ‘hands-on’ role, where the Programme Director will be required to demonstrate both knowledge and leadership to the project team, thinking at both a strategic and operational level, taking full ownership of service delivery and performance to the client.

To qualify, you will have at least 20 years of experience in a senior leadership position, ideally with a Middle East content and industrial development environment. You will have a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; be experienced in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature and national in scope; be fully committed to taking ownership of the commission, with a solutions driven ‘can-do’ attitude; be prepared to go the extra mile to meet the high standards expected by the client.

You will possess an Engineering/Management degree or equivalent combined with at least 20 years experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance and management. You must have a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc for the provision of PMC services, and their impact on programme and project level activities. In addition, you should have experience of commercial management and procurement of consultants and contractors and ideally experience with government funding processes.

Salary: AED 50 – 60k + benefits
