Our client, a multinational company based in Abu Dhabi is looking for an Engineering Manager to work across their multiple business sectors.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing and providing technical support for the delivery of all mechanical, electrical and FM services required to support the UAE operations on client sites. The engineering services include but are not limited to utilities of the electric LV power distribution, standby generation, fuel supplies, carpentry and plumbing upgrades and installation. The Engineering Manager is responsible for operating the utilities, setting up and managing the PPM regime to support operations, identifying spares requirements, maintaining operational records and controlling materials and labour costs. The Engineering Manager is also responsible for enforcing safe operating practices; establishing a safe environment for clients and staff by abiding with all the procedures and policies as established by the client and the company; assisting in bids; development of new clients; developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients; Profit & Loss; Engineering/Maintenance budgets.

To qualify, you will possess a qualification in electrical, mechanical or a related technical discipline with a working bias towards electrical engineering. You will have a good all round knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems and 7 to 10 years experience in planning, coordinating and leading the installation, testing, hand over to operator, maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment. You must have experience in project estimating and execution. You will be capable of demonstrating a 'hands on' approach where necessary. With an incredibly pro-active approach to maintenance and engineering support, you will have ideally worked in a company with multiple business lines. You will have previous experience of managing in-house and partnership projects, have a thorough knowledge of engineering and technology best practice and processes, experience of strategic planning, possess clear and demonstrable team and individual development experience to meet current and future project needs, have extensive and demonstrable experience of Engineering Department management and leadership of multi-disciplinary Engineering teams. You will have good communication at all levels - ability to present information and to respond to questions from customers, line reports, managers or directors of the business.

Salary: AED 20 – 25k pm + benefits
