Sr. Power Relay Technician

Position Description
The required candidate must be fully conversant with High Voltage Electrical Protection System and its components. He must be highly skilled in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting Electromechanical, Solid State-Microprocessor relays and their associated components.

At least 11 years experience in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting Feeder protection, Transformer protection, Motor protection, Bus protection and Line/Distance protection relays is required.

He must have complete command of using / maintaining single and three phase digital test instruments and competency in reading schematic protection and control diagrams and single and three phase diagrams. Should be a team player, fluent in English language and must be able to train young / new employees.

Minimum Requirements
11 years experience with Diploma of Associate Engineer in Electrical/Power Technology

Duties & Responsibilities

Power Service Technicians should have high degree of expertise:
In commissioning/ installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of high & medium voltage.

Transformers with OLTC, Circuit Breakers (Air, Vacuum, and SF6), Switchgears, motor, Starters and Disconnect Switches/Circuit Switchers.
