Scope	\|	The project calls for construction of a new petrochemicals complex at Ras Laffan. The petrochemicals complex will includes a mono-ethylene glycol (MEG) plant with a capacity of up to 1.5 million tonnes a year (t/y), along with other olefin derivatives.
Schedule	\|	An agreement was signed between Qatar Petroleum and Shell. Shell will develop the complex at Ras Laffan. The complex is expected to be completed in 2018.
