Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding’s jointly developed Dubai Creek Harbour megaproject has received a new addition. Palace Residences, the waterfront residential development to be launched at Dubai Creek Harbour, will be serviced by Address Hotels + Resorts.

According to a statement, an assortment of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments will make up the new development, located adjacent to the upcoming 121-room Palace Dubai Creek Harbour.

Sales at the 44-storey Palace Residences begun on 7 January, marking the first launch at the 600ha Dubai Creek Harbour development in 2019.

Investors will receive several benefits from the project, including five-year property management services by Emaar, 50% discount on membership at the Palace Dubai Creek Harbour Spa and Pool, and a 25% discount on food and beverage at the hotel’s outlets.

Construction Week reached out to Emaar for further construction details about the project, but has yet to receive a response on the topic.

The announcement comes as the first homes in Dubai Creek Harbour are prepared for handover early this year. More than 5,000 residents are set to move in to their homes in Creek Marina, with over 12,750 residents set to move in during 2020.

In August 2018, Emaar said work on other residential developments within Creek Island Dubai was progressing per schedule. These included Creekside 18, with 500 apartments, which is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2020, with more than 40% of its construction completed.

Significant progress was also made on the development’s iconic Dubai Creek Tower last year. In May 2018, the concrete placement for the tower’s pile cap was completed two months ahead of schedule.
