Consultancy Thomas & Adamson names new Middle East director
Edinburgh outfit hires Ross Carlow to drive regional expansion 10 years after establishing a base in Abu Dhabi
Edinburgh-based construction consultancy, Thomas & Adamson, has appointed Ross Carlow has regional director of the Middle East.
The company, known for its quantity surveying and project management expertise, has worked on various notable projects in the region. Its local contracts include a project management and cost consultancy deal for Phase 1 of Al Wathba Prison’s five-year redevelopment, and another agreement to deliver strategic advisory and cost management for the Crown Prince Court’s programmes for the UAE’s 47th National Day, celebrated on 2 December, 2018.
Carlow joins Thomas & Adamson with 11 years of experience with property developers in the UAE, in addition to expertise in Australia’s consulting and the UK’s residential construction sectors.
The appointment of a new regional leader coincides with Thomas & Adamson’s 10th year of doing business in Abu Dhabi, and marks five years since the firm set up an office in Dubai.
Commenting on the appointment, Thomas & Adamson’s international partner, Les Banks, said Carlow would support the firm’s “expansion in the Middle East”.
“His track record, connections, and intimate knowledge of the construction industry will undoubtedly bolster our international offering and add great value to our clients and their projects,” Banks continued.
