Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund-owned (PIF) digital systems provider Elm showcased its integrated transport system – based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology – at Gitex Technology Week 2019, which is being held on 6-10 October at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Elm is showcasing the advantages of its integrated system, including the digital issuance of licenses, drivers’ cards, and transport documents; access to detailed reports about load and shipment statuses; vehicle tracking; and verifying the eligibility of drivers.

In a statement, Elm said its system could help boost the level of security and safety on roads, help with infrastructure maintenance, and support cargo management efficiencies.
