SZHP awards CSCEC Middle East $109m Sharjah residential project
China State Construction Engineering Corporation – Middle East (CSCEC ME) will build 380 villas in the Al Seyouh region of Sharjah
The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme (SZHP) has awarded China State Construction Engineering Corporation – Middle East (CSCEC ME) a residential compound project contract worth $109m (AED400m) to build 380 villas in the Al Seyouh region of Sharjah.
The project will be adjacent to the recently completed National Housing Project in the area, CSCEC ME confirmed in a statement on its LinkedIn platform.
The agreement was inked in the presence of the UAE Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, HE Dr Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi; the general manager of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, Jamila Mohamed Khalfan Al Fandi; the executive director of the housing sector, Mohammed Ahmed Ali Al Mahmoud; and president and chief executive officer of CSCEC ME, Yu Tao.
The development is the third such project awarded by the UAE government authorities after the National Housing Project and the Ajman Houses Project.
