CW Awards Oman 2020: Construction Executive of the Year shortlist is out
Five construction executives have been shortlisted for the CW Awards Oman 2020 in Muscat on 30 March
The shortlisted nominees for the Construction Executive of the Year category at the Construction Week Oman Awards 2020 have been announced.
One of the most prestigious awards of the night, the construction executive winner will go to the individual who has demonstrated the greatest impact on his or her construction-related business in the past 12 months.
Returning to the category which he won Highly Commended last year, Douglas OHI’s Aaron Hennessey has been commended for growing the firm’s capabilities and expanding its geographical footprint by focusing on eight key sectors to deliver consistent growth and shareholder return.
For his ability to “inspire and grow leaders” around him, and his continuous “lead by example” attitude, Sarooj Construction Company’s Mansour El Akouri has also made the shortlist.
WS Atkins International’s Marco Malpiedi and KEO International Consultants’ Prathish Unni have also been recognised for their efforts over the past 12 months.
The final nominee is Turner and Townsend’s director Ryan Shalabi for leading the 184% growth of the firm’s Oman business.
