#EachforEqual: UAE celebrates women in the construction industry
On the occasion of International Women's Day, UAE firms turn the focus to a gender-balanced environment
On the occasion of International Women's Day — which falls on 8 March — UAE companies, including government entities, are celebrating women in the region across different sectors including construction, logistics and supply, facilities services, real estate.
Construction consultancy firm WSP Middle East introduced a week-long campaign, highlighting contributions that female workforce make towards ‘greater harmony and achievement’. The company recently launched a maternity policy to offer a minimum 55 working days and a maximum 130 working days paid leave for its female staff.

Security service company Transguard Group leaned towards gender diversity, stating that it creates a talent-based workplace, irrespective of gender.
