CW Awards Oman 2020: Sustainability Initiative of the Year shortlist is out
Al Tasnim Group and Douglas OHI will go head-to-head for the Sustainability Initiative of the Year accolade in Muscat
The shortlisted nominees for the Sustainability Initiative of the Year category at the Construction Week Oman Awards 2020 have been named.
The winning sustainability initiative will make a positive contribution to the advance of environmental considerations in construction, while also demonstrating clear practical applications.
Among the companies that have been commended for their sustainability practices is Al Tasnim Group for the LEED Platinum Certification of the Sohar City Centre project which they claim is Oman’s First LEED Platinum certified project under Core and Shell category.
Battling Al Tasnim Group for the award will be Douglas OHI for its Sustainability Awareness, Education & Impact policy, which they said aims to change attitudes and behaviour towards the environment.
The Construction Week Oman Awards 2020 will be backed by Silver Sponsors; Tenable Fire Engineering Consultancy, Sarooj Construction Company, KEO International Consultants, and Al Tasnim Group.
