According to Arda Atalay, Head of MENA Private Sector LinkedIn Talent Solutions, the UAE job market is characterised as an “ever-dynamic industry.”
In exclusive insights shared with Arabian Business, it has been revealed that six out of ten jobs are now centred around digital technology, leading to a rising need for advanced skills like machine learning and programming languages.
Atalay emphasised that the UAE’s workplace is continuously evolving, with technological advancements and AI taking centre stage on the nation’s agenda. Consequently, skills such as big data, network security, and machine learning are also witnessing rapid growth and becoming increasingly essential in the job market.
The LinkedIn data revealed that Arabic ranked among the top five skills in demand for undergraduates in the UAE with 23,566 job postings between 1 January 2022 and 1 March 2023, requiring that skill for positions in sales or real estate.
