Madinat Al Arab phase one to tender

Tenders for Al Burj Real Estate's development are expected to be sent out by the end of this year.

Tenders for the main construction package of Al Burj Real Estate's Madinat Al Arab Phase I in Dubai Waterfront are expected to be sent out by the end of this year.

Currently, designs are being assessed and a designer will be selected within the next couple of months.

"This is our first project and it will have over 280,000m2 built up area," said Naushad Noor Ali Rashid, CEO, Al Burj Real Estate.

"There will be seven towers, mainly residential, of various heights but going up to about 50 storeys. We still haven't decided on the details but the towers could also have the possibility of being retail as well."
