Hill International picks up contracts

The construction consulting firm has been awarded a number of contracts in the region.

Construction management firm Hill International has recently been awarded a number of contracts in the region.

In Abu Dhabi, the company picked up a $4.7 million (AED17.2 million) from Abu Dhabi National Hotels to provide project management services during the construction of a five star resort on Plot G of Saadiyat Island. Construction began in April this year and is scheduled for completion in October 2009.

Tanmiyat Real Estate has also appointed Hill International for the $140 million Bin Samikh Tower, a five star hotel in Doha.

And in Dubai, a letter of intent has been signed for the $135.9 million DIFC Lighthouse project. The client is Dubai International Financial Centre Authority.

Designed by Atkins, construction will begin in December 2007.
