Mubadala Healthcare to open outpatient facility
Wooridul will manage and operate the Dubai outpatient facility
Mubadala Healthcare, part of Mubadala Development Company (Mubadala), is expanding its Wooridul Spine Centre project with an outpatient facility in Dubai, opening early this year.
Korean spine care specialists, Wooridul will manage and operate the outpatient facility as well as its flagship building, which is due to open in Abu Dhabi in 2012.
The flagship Abu Dhabi centre will offer a range of both inpatient and outpatient treatments.
"We are pleased to expand our relationship with Wooridul Spine Hospital with the opening of Wooridul Spine Centre Dubai this year,” said Suhail Al Ansari, head, Mubadala Healthcare.
“Through our partnership with Wooridul to develop these facilities, we are working to address the incidence of chronic back and neck conditions in the UAE and to reduce the need for patients to travel abroad for specialised spinal treatment."
Wooridul Spine Centre will offer patients a spine care solutions including diagnostics and pain managemen, physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
The new Dubai facility will be located near Al Safa 2 on Sheikh Zayed Road, next to Noor Islamic Bank metro station.
The Abu Dhabi facility is currently under development at Arzanah, a mixed use development adjacent to Zayed Sports City, scheduled to open in the Arzanah Medical Complex in 2012.
