MESC has announced the appointment of Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Al Duailej as its CEO.

The company manufactures a full range of low- and medium-voltage power cables, in addition to aluminum conductors and building wires, for the energy, oil and gas, power plants and petchem sectors to infrastructure, telecoms and construction.

MESC has expanded into Libya, Nigeria and North Africa. It has a manufacturing presence in Saudi, the UAE and Jordan.

Al Duailej began his career in 1985 at SABIC. His most recent position was with Al Oula, operating in such diverse markets as Saudi, Bahrain, Kuwait and Egypt. Prior to this he was CEO of Adwan Chemical Industries for over 12 years.

Al Duaijel graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals with a degree in industrial management.
